In its journey to a responsible growth, the company has obtained the most important certifications such as:
- “Platform for the storage, selection and recovery of urban waste coming from recycling process, hazardous and non-hazardous special waste intended for reuse and disposal. Collection and transportation service on its own behalf and for third parties of urban and similar waste, recyclable non-hazardous waste, hazardous and non-hazardous waste intended for recovery and disposal. Reclamation of sites. Collection “end of waste”, for paper and cardboard waste as indicated in the article 6 paragraph 1 of the Italian Decree of the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea no. 188 of 22 September 2020.”
The process for the registration of San Vitaliano plant had already been started in 2001 pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 761/2001, then Reg. No. 1221/2009 with the voluntary compliance of the organization to the eco-management community system and audit (EMAS) and today COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2017/1505 of 28 August 2017 amending Annexes I, II and III of Regulation (EC) no. 1221/2009 and COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2018/2026 of 19 December 2018 amending Annex IV of Regulation (EC) No. 1221/2009.
In December 2012, the plant obtained the A.I.A. (Integrated Environmental Authorization) permit for its facility in San Vitaliano (NA).
The workers meticulous training contributes significantly to the results achieved, proven by Certification of Excellence, “Certiquality”.
Ambiente S.p.A. possess many certifications:
- UNI EN ISO 9001 - Quality management system compliant with the ISO 9001 -EA 28- standard assessed according to the requirements of the Technical Regulation RT-05;
- UNI EN ISO 14001 - For the implementation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System compliant with the standard;
- EMAS Registration Certificate - RECOVERY OF SELECTED MATERIALS for having implemented an environmental management system compliant with the EMAS Regulation in order to improve its environmental performance and to publish an environmental statement. The environmental management system has been verified and the ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT has been validated by an accredited environmental verifier.
- UNI ISO 45001 - For the implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System compliant with the standard;
- UNI ISO 37001 - For the implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System compliant with the standard;
- ISO 50001 - For the implementation and maintenance of Energy Management System compliant with the standard;
- SA8000 - For the implementation and maintenance of a Management System compliant with the standard;
